Woody's and Sailor
Woody's is located in the heart of Toronto's Boystown. Currently in its 14th year as Toronto's busiest and hottest gay men's bar, Woody's is enjoying added recognition for being featured in the popular television series "Queer as Folk". Woody's is large and cavernous with five bars, DJ's nightly, regular theme parties, a pool table, pinball and 17 video monitors showing some of the sexiest images around. The front windows open up on Church Street providing a great view on Canada's busiest and friendliest gay village.
Along with sponsoring baseball teams, hockey, bowling, tennis and curling, Woody's sponsors Toronto Pride Week. Toronto's Pride festivities have grown to be one of the world's largest Pride celebrations culminating on the last Sunday of June every year. Woody's is also a proud Corporate Sponsor of Fashion Cares and is a founding and continuing sponsor of Buddies and Bad Times Theatre, North America's largest gay theatre. Woody's extensive fundraising activities include Woody's Staff Night which has raised over $300,000 for the AIDS Committee of Toronto.
Woody's is also proud to have received numerous Best Awards from NOW, Xtra!, Fab and Eye magazines as well as many community recognition awards.
